Can I switch to powder?

Hello ladies!! I’m a FTM my baby is 1week 2 days old and we are feeding him the ready to feed enfamil. I was wondering when we would be able to switch him over to the powder stuff?  So I can use my baby brezza. And spend less money on the ready to feed. Because he’s a hungry little man! Lol and also he’s soooo gassy with the ready to feed where it looks so painful to poop. So we put OVOL in his formula. 
Anyways.. please help! Also this is Chase!

I never used the ready to feed kind outside of what the hospital gave us. Use the brezza!! It is amazing!

I couldn’t breastfeed my daughter and used powder from when she was about 5 days old, she’s now a perfectly healthy 6 year old! I’m sure you can use it from birth, it says so on the packaging usually xxx

We used powder from birth once hospital samples ran out, I say go for it!!

My pediatrician doesnt recommend powder till baby is 2 month old because the formula powder isnt sterile and can have bacteria wheras the ready to feed is sterile.

my baby is 1 week today & we switched her to powder from the enfamil ready to feed bottles as soon as we got home from the hospital. The nurse said it was the exact same thing and we never had a problem!

You can use the powder kind whenever. You don't have to use the ready to feed, thats usually just what the hospital gives you.
