Anyone have an episiotomy? Just curious. Bonus points if you have had one and have had sex since. I'm nervous that area is going to hurt.

Had an episiotomy and an additional 2nd degree tear. Attempted sex day of my clearance, which ended up being 6.5 weeks and it was a little uncomfortable. Baby had woken up plus it being uncomfortable, we only did it for a few minutes.

It hurt so bad I’ve only had sex twice at 9 weeks. 3rd degree episiotomy 😩

I didn’t get cut but I had a second degree tear that healed with granulation and I’m TERRIFIED to have sex

I ended up having sex about 5 weeks pp, but I felt fine for a couple weeks prior. It actually was really good. We’ve had sex quite a few times since. It’s so much better without the belly in the way! 😂 we just took it really slow and I was on top so I could control how it felt. I also had a couple glasses of wine prior so I could relax. Good luck momma!
