Lately my sons pee has a strong odor to it ? Anyone know why this might be?

Strong smell is usually caused by dehydration, or an infection. If there's no other symptom (itch or pain or even a very slight fever) it's likely dehydration. 
Offer a drink all the time, twice the usual, and offer a drink right after you get the cup back - sometimes they stop drinking because they need to catch their breath and not because they're finished drinking.

Could be something he ate, or a UTI (uncommon in boys but not unheard of), or nothing at all. Is it possible he’s a little dehydrated? Is he potty trained?
