NO SEX BEFORE HSG TEST

Hello everyone,

I just want to ask why is it adviced to not have intercourse before hsg test starting on the first day of AF?

I have a schedule on Sept 6th, kinda feel sorry for husband (and for me) lol

I feel like the more we think that we are not allowed to do it, the more we get the urge to want to do it.

Is it really not allowed? But I don’t want to wait for another month to do the test that’s why I’m seeking for your insights and answers.
