What do you think of pregnancy pillows?

Hi ladies, I've been waking up on my back and concered as I'm not supposed to be laying that way now! So looking for your opinions.
Please leave a comment on which shape you find is best! (U, L etc)

I got the Boppy Petite Pregnancy Pillow at around 28 weeks and I love it. I sleep so much better now, and the upside is I can also use it as a breastfeeding pillow after my little man arrives.

I didn’t fully appreciate mine until my third trimester, but once my pelvis and hips started hurting, being able to just hook a leg over it has been the only thing letting me sleep a lot of nights.

I have had my U shaped one since about 20 something weeks. My back and sides kill me the next day if I don’t use it from the weight of my belly. I tried using a body pillow and it didn’t help for me. I don’t even like body pillows or sleeping with extra pillows, but this was a must for me with back and side pain.

I haven't had one my whole pregnancy because a pillow between my legs or behind or in front of me worked just fine, but now at 38 weeks I wish I had one. But for two weeks only? I'm just gonna ride it out at this point.

I was always really hot while pregnant and the pillow made it worse. I’d wake up covered in sweat so I just used a pillow between my legs. So for me it definitely wasn’t worth the money.

I prefer my body pillow over the u shaped one. They take so much space ! Even in our king bed

I like the u shape, I sleep with the bottom part of the u as my pillow and then sort of hug the sides with my arms and prop my leg on top. I don’t ever sleep on my back to begin with so I think it’s super comfy, may even just switch to using it as my normal pillow forever although my husband might object lol

Unless you have a king size bed or sleep alone they take up a ton of space. I had the U shaped and wasn’t a fan, I just use a body pillow and works just fine.
