Cut myself removing cup...twice?!

Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else. I’ve been a FemmyCycle user for a long time, never had any problems. On my current period tho I have cut myself twice removing the cup. The first time was the day before my period started, and that’s how I know I cut myself bc I hadn’t started bleeding yet, but had blood externally after removing the cup. The second time it happened, I pinched the cup on three sides to see if that would eliminate that from happening, but it didn’t. The cup cut me again.

The reason I think this is happening is bc it’s so big that when I pull it out of my body, it expands open. Super fast. Like flies open. And the rim of the cup like hits/pulls the outside of my skin down there. These have been really painful experiences for me. Please help. This has not been fun. Thanks.
