Do tests deactivate positive?

These pictures were about an hour and a half after I took the test. At first it was playing tricks on me but after 20 mins I came back and it looked like there was a very faint line. I’m only 24 days so I’ll obviously retest but wondering if they will look positive even if they’re not after awhile. This ain’t my first rodeo, we’re ttc #3. Maybe I’m getting my hopes up?!

If it’s after the time frame it’s invalid. Also, blue dye is notorious for false positives try with pink dye instead

I would take another one to be sure. I had that happen to me once after I let the test sit there for a long time. I wasn’t trying to get pregnant at the time and was relieved when at first it was negative and then later in the day i freaked out because it was positive. I had to take another rest just to make sure that it was negative again.
