Being induced..

I’m currently 28w5d and my doctor mentioned I would be induced at 39 weeks due to chronic hypertension in the first trimester. My bp was normal during the 2nd trimester. But is starting to elevate again now. No diagnosis of preeclampsia yet. My question is, have any momma’s been induced? Have any advice?

I’m thinking of just trying to walk a lot and have sex hoping baby girl will come on her own since I’ve read induction horror stories on google 😩.
