My throat has been extremely sore since Wed night, nothing I have taken at home is helping. I usually get white spots on my tonsils ever couple of months and a bit of pain then it goes away after 3 or 4 days so I figured this would be the same. But I see no spots on my tonsils. Just really sharp pain low down in my throat, on the right side and swollen glands in my neck which have eased up a bit since the first day. I'm seeing my Dr on Monday but not really sure if I should go or not as I can't see anything. Feel a bit of pain in my ear as well, same side, but I don't know what it could be. I have no fever, no rash no white spots. This pain though is by far worse than it's ever been and I'm struggling to swallow because of it. Any ideas? Should I see the Dr or just wait it out.
