7 weeks postpartum period?

Hey! I’m 7 weeks postpartum with my little boy, and I stopped bleeding around 5 weeks or so but now I’m bleeding heavy again to the point of changing my pad every 2 hours. Is this way to heavy? Im having small clots and heavy heavy bleeding.

I had mine at 5.5 weeks and had to change an overnight pad every hour and a half max. My doctor said it was normal (however I have issues trusting men with what they say is normal in circumstances like this). I thought it was too much bleeding since I was constantly feeling faint and dizzy.

Would it be best to stay with pads? Or tampons okay?

It sounds pretty normal. I had my first period around 5-6 weeks pp and I’m currently 9 weeks pp. I was extremely heavy, more than my regular periods. I’ve heard it’s normal and just our bodies adjusting

I bled even more during my periods...so it would be normal for me
