Is it bad to cry while holding your baby?

Question

Someone told me that it’s bad to do this, to use your baby for comfort if you’re really upset and crying.

I beg to differ. I have nerve pain and worked as an infant teacher for a few years and I was at work and my pain just creeped up out of nowhere so I sat down in the floor and cried and rubbed my arm. All of my babies were 8 mons old and older at this time and all of them were coming to me, they wanted to interact. They stopped what they were doing and turned their focus on me, they wanted to smile and play. They understood that I was sad and reacted with empathy. 
It’s normal for human beings to comfort eachother during hard times. Life is not always gonna be perfect and sometimes you gotta cry, crying is a part of being human. Idk if people remember this but babies are humans too and if anything it teaches that we handle our sad emotions with physical touch and affection. So hold that baby and cry.

Theres a fine line between every once in awhile after a really bad day, or for every little inconvenience. Bad days are fine but every little thing isnt healthy for the adult

It's ok and healthy for a child to see a parent cry. It's not healthy for a parent to rely on their child for comfort/emotional support.
