Let me start off by saying I have endometriosis and presumed PCOS from my doctor (just work 6 days a week, it’s difficult to to get the test done). When I was 17 years old, I was told I would most likely never be able to conceive naturally. My chance was 1%! Once my husband and I started trying (because who wouldn’t try before going to a specialist!?) I got pregnant after only 5 cycles!! My midwife flagged me as a potential high risk and if anything was to go south, I would have to switch to an OB ASAP. (Thankfully, everything went extremely well!! I was very lucky!)

Well onto baby number two, we weren’t so lucky. I knew that my first was a miracle baby, I didn’t think I would ever get lucky again. We tried for 14 cycles (my cycles are almost 40 days long.. that’s a long time haha!) I suffered two miscarriages back to back back in the beginning of the year. Thats when things started to look down for me. I was getting super depressed. I wanted my kids close in age, but I also wanted to try naturally again. I did it once, I feel like I should be able to do it again. I started working with a personal trainer to lose some extra weight, I know that that helps with getting pregnant, and my cycles started changing. Well after 12 cycles, I made the call to a fertility doctor. Our appointment was September 16th. But this morning, I woke up at 4am needing to pee.. I thought that was odd and the only other time I’ve woken up at 4 was when I was pregnant with my first. So I took a test with FMU. And there it was. The line! I was sure I was seeing things. So I took another after a 4 hour hold, and the line was the same. Faint, but there. Well I decided I would hold out again. Almost 6 hours later, I took a cheapie blue dye test thinking it would be faint, but nope! It was WAY darker than my FMU tests!!

Ladies, I did it! I beat the odds, ONCE AGAIN.

I’m only 10DPO. I have absolutely no symptoms. Nothing. Haha

That’s my cycle this month. I seriously ovulated so early!! So happy to have started testing early, because I usually ovulate almost a week later! I could have missed it!
