Clogged duct?

Ladies I hand express and I see milk coming out but what hurts is when I have a let down, I don’t know if it is clogged but I still get milk, I’m confused but the pain is there, help on what could it be?

For the first few months my let down felt like a sharp lighting sensation.
From what I researched it's quite normal.
If you have a clogged duct you will have a painful lump. Try s warm compresses and/or a hot showers on it, massage it and feed baby from that side first.
Milk should still come out as there's more than one duct in a breast.

Is the pain like pins and needles on your breast? You should be able to express milk by pulling on your nipple. Were you asking if you should be able to?
