Throwing up frequently- call dr?

Question

I’ve been throwing up rather regularly. I’m 18 weeks and I’ve been throwing up at least once a week. Is this something I should call my dr about on Tuesday? I know throwing up can’t hurt the pregnancy but I’m concerned about the frequency being a symptom. Morning sickness went away at 12 weeks and all tests and scans have been perfect.

Once a week isn’t that bad. You could mention it at your next appointment but not worth an extra call.

I wouldnt worry about it.. Im 27wks and still throw up a few times a week. Least its not several times a day... Got pretty damn dehydrated and went on the drip two separate times. Just keep an eye on your hydration even if you cant really eat much. If you start getting dizzy and severely fatigued then a trip for some fluids at your drs or hospital maybe needed. If your concerned though tell your dr or midwife about anything. Nothing is silly hun. Better be safe than sorry.

Morning sickness can return at anytime. If you are able to keep food and beverages down it isnt worrisome.

I’m 15 weeks and had to go get IV fluids and anti sickness drugs for nausea and dehydration but I vomited 3 times in 7 hours and couldn’t keep much water down.  Sometimes nausea and vomiting lasts longer than the first trimester but vomiting once a week is infrequent and I wouldn’t imagine would be a cause for concern. You may just need to ride it out and hope it settles soon!

This happened to me too morning sickness went away 13w then it was randomly back around 18w then it went away at 19w completely. I’m 20+4 now. I think it’s just your hormones settling again. I would suggest it’s nothing to worry about but I’m not a gyn 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wouldn’t call once a week frequently. Only reason to call would be if you were vomiting multiple times a day not keeping any food/liquid down.
