I’m so sick of getting catcalled

I used to live in a smallish town in Florida but recently I moved to a big city and I can’t go ANYWHERE without getting catcalled. It’s happens everyday and I’m so sick of it. It makes me so uncomfortable to the point where I don’t even want to wear the clothes I look good in anymore. I do all my errands in sweatpants and a tee shirt just to avoid it. This never happened in Florida and maybe It’s something I just need to get used to but that doesn’t make it ok. I really wish men knew how uncomfortable it makes us when a stranger whistles at us or says something completely uncalled for when I’m just trying to get to work. And I’m too scared to say anything back because it would only encourage them. I’m sure a lot of you have this same issue, so girls... what do I do?
