Health Visitor - what to expect?

Hi ladies! I'm 32 weeks and have my health visitor / nurse coming to do a home visit tomorrow. 
Any ideas what to expect?

I'm 28 weeks and have the health visitor coming out tomorrow! I'm wondering how long the visit will last??

With my 2 year old it was just a chat about how I was feeling, talk about safe sleeping, feeding ect. Also they may have a quiet word about domestic abuse, just a standard question for them and ask everyone. Long as you have no concerns you move straight on. Xx

I just got asked who lives in the household, is there any smokers if so where do they smoke, is there any animals if so what animals and how many, and about safe sleeping and sids awareness.

Thanks everyone for your replies, sounds like it's a regional thing then if not everyone gets a home visit in their third trimester! (I'm in Leicester)

I had a health visitor come out at 36 weeks, he introduced himself, left me his number and just spoke to me about what his job will be after the baby is born, when he will be coming out etc. Asked me a few questions but it was a very relaxed and causal conversation about the baby's name, if I've family living close by or anyone to help, how I'm feeling etc. I had the house cleaned top to bottom as I never heard of them coming out before so I thought maybe it's like a house inspection or something, he sat on the sofa and didn't even move for the 15 minutes he was here. He said  that they only come out after baby is born to give advise, and information, weigh the baby and make sure they are developing well.
For me the health visitor has been much better and easier to talk to than the midwifes. My baby is now 3 weeks and he's been out 4 times only cause she had a problem with not gaining any weight,, he even texted me a few days ago to see if she is feeding well and asked if he can come round tomorrow to weigh her to give us all a piece of mind.

I’ve only just had my baby back in July, so very recently and I never had a home visit from anyone until after my baby was born. The first week of being home we had several midwife visits and then the health visitor came during week 2 of being home - not before and certainly not when I was pregnant. 
I’m wondering if it depends on your area as I know the rules can vary from place to place. 🤔

I’m following for the same reason, this never happened when I had my daughter 6 years ago! Xx
