Dry skin around belly button piercing

I got my belly button pierced two weeks ago exactly. It hurt for a bout a week and now I have absolutely no pain except if I catch it on something. It is still red around the balls of the jewelry but nowhere else and I was told it will be red like that for quite a while but as long as it is just red around the jewelry it’s ok. But I have dry peeling skin around my piercing but no pain and I clean it twice everyday with wound wash saline spray.

Has anyone else had this happen to a fresh belly button piercing?
