Do you tho think it’s necessary to let your S/O know where your at all all times?

For me personally I will say yes because the crime rate is so extreme where I live at I need to know where he’s at Incase something was to happen. But what are your opinions?

I wouldn’t say it’s necessary, but I think it’s respectful and responsible to let him know where I’m going or where I am.

No. But he knows kind of my plans for a day.  But I don’t tell him where I’m at at all times. Never have.

If he calls and asks where I’m at, I’m honest. But I don’t go out of my way to text him every single move I make. 
We live in a high crime rate city too, so we just share our location in case something were to ever happen. If he’s not home for hours and I’m concerned, then I’ll check his location and think, “Oh okay, he’s at Ben’s house” and leave it at that. I don’t bother to text or call. 
I don’t check his location religiously though either because I don’t care to know his every move. It would ruin our “What did you do today” conversations at the dinner table, plus I completely trust my husband so there’s no concern for “foul play”.

Yes. We always share our plans for the day. Even if not exact geographical location but I always tell him where I’m going.
It’s a security thing I guess not a trust issue

I wouldnt say I or him require it. We keep each other informed of where we are for the most part. If I'm going shopping I'll tell him I'm going to like Target but if I hit Target and Kohls or something I wont tell him both.

He’s knows pretty much where I am all the time. Just out of respect/habit. Like if I have errands to run, he’ll know the places I’m going but if I don’t find what i need at target, I’m not going to text him to say “ok I went ___ instead”. Or I don’t text him a play by play when I leave one store and go to the next.

My husband and I tell each where we’re going 24/7 NOT for the control/permission but like you said it’s for safety.
