Do you believe in God?

Why or why not? I'm just curious. I've been questioning whether I should believe or not

God created man
Gives man ability to choose
But if you don't choose God then you go to hell/are punished somehow
If he's real, that's not a god I'd want to serve. Sounds like an asshole.

I believe in a higher power of some sort. Just not sure what to call it....
When I think of “God”, I think of the Bible. And there’s a lot that rubs me the wrong way about the Bible in general. So maybe that’s why I’m hesitant to call it God.

It really does not make sense to me. Like you want me to believe that there's this super powerful man, living in the sky, who decides what happens to every single living being on earth and created everything in it. No. That's psychotic. The bible is a crusty old work of fiction and people created a cult following of it. Its creepy😂

I do. God has definitely answered my prayers, like my baby girl. I know some people will say He had nothing to do with it, but I personally definitely believe. I pray to him everyday❤️

So here is what i don’t believe. I don’t believe there is an old gray bearded man in the sky wagging his finger at us disapprovingly for not following his “rules”.
Could there be a higher being? Yeah, I think there could be. But there might not be. It may not be a single “being” at all. It may be something entirely different than we can understand. 
Does that mean you should be a shitty person? No. 
Does that mean religion is stupid? No. 
I just feel like IF there is a “god” it is something beyond our comprehension. But everyone is entitled to believe in SOMETHING if it gives them peace and in turn helps them spiritually, regardless whether they are right or wrong.

I don’t really have a specific reason as to why I don’t believe, I just personally don’t find religion  realistic or applicable to my lifestyle.

I do, even though sometimes I doubt it. Things happen for a reason, but everytime I've really needed some extra help, things turned out how they were supposed to. We've had un explained things happen as well, so at that time it was hard to doubt.
