Swelling?

I haven’t had any swelling this whole pregnancy and just within the few days I’m getting swelling on my feet. I have been outside in the heat a lot the past few days. I have a doctors appointment in two days so I will see what he says 🤷🏼‍♀️ my mom had preeclampsia with me and delivered me at 32 weeks.

My doctor basically said swelling is not really a sign of preeclampsia unless it’s combined with other symptoms like high blood pressure. The heat and being on your feet a lot and sitting a lot definitely causes swelling. Don’t worry!

It very well could be the heat. I work in a warehouse with no A/C, and I only ever experience dwelling on days when it’s 105+ degrees. 🥵 
Hydrate, put your feet up (above the level of your heart) and for sure mention it to your dr. If you have any other symptoms, or it gets worse, or if you simply are feeling anxious in any way, you should never hesitate to call! ☺️

I swelled a lot with my first because of the heat and didn't have preeclampsia. This time I only swell in the feet if it's super hot and I'm being pretty active on them. I had to buy a bigger size of shoe the other day just to go to the zoo 😅
