Adriel Elias || Should we add an accent mark to his name?

We've decided on a boy name Adriel (Ahh-dree-el) Elias Ocasio. Im now debating if I should add an accent mark.. do you think his name will be mispronounced or does it look pretty straight forward?

I’m not sure if you’re in the US but I wouldn’t have pronounced it like that. I’d give it a hard A sound. A-dree-el.

I know someone named Adriel and it’s pronounced with a long A. I think the accent will make it more confusing on how you want it said. I think you’ll have to explain how to say it regardless if you don’t want it with a long A.

I think it will be mispronounced (with a hard A) but an accent won’t make a difference, you’ll just have to correct people.  It’s just because some people don’t know how to properly pronounce spanish names/words.  I live in SoCal and you should hear the way some of our street and city names are butchered!!
