I just need to vent! Cause my husband doesn't understand ...

I'm 33.4 weeks... I went to the store today and while I was waiting in line, the woman in front of me forgot her bag and came back.. she said "oh where's head at today?" I laughed and said, "I hear ya, I can't remember much of anything these days". We laughed and she walked away.

The cashier, an older man... In his 50's, looks at me and goes, "well you only have one thing on your mind, that's a good excuse." I smiled and laughed. He then proceeded to ask how far along I was or when I was due. I said mid-October. He says, "wow... Really????!" I said yeah, it's not too far off. He said, "wow" about 6 more times in complete and utter shock, and then says, "well there's not much more room... I can't.. wow" all while starting at my belly and shaking his head. 🤬

I'm measuring normal... I've gained about 30lbs so far.. but I'm also 5'2".

WTH... I'm a FTM and I just don't get it...

#1 Why do grown adult men think it's acceptable to comment on a pregnant woman's appearance.

#2 Why do grown adult men with their own weight problems feel it necessary to open their mouth?!!
