So I went a week ago and my cervix was closed I thought I lost my mucus plug. Then a few days ago I went in to L&D for contractions and I was 1 cm dilated but my waters weren't leaking or busted. Today me and my husband had sex and afterwards I went to the restroom and had bloody looking fluids come out. A lot. Does anyone know what it was?

Could be bloody show or seman with a little bit of blood (cervix is easily irritated in pregnancy)... hard to say because of the timing.

Having sex can irritate your cervix and cause bloody show, and what you thought was your “mucous plug” was more than likely just 3rd trimester discharge.
