2+2=4?
I had a dream about 4-5 years ago that I just remembered this evening, and I’d like you guys’ thoughts on it, even if it involves a lot of “That’s silly,” “You’re overthinking this,” and other similar sentiments.
At the time, I had a HUGE crush on Robert Vaughn, an actor from the 1960s, and I often dreamt about him (often enough that I could write the dreams down afterwards). Around the time of the dream, I’d been watching a TV series (from the 1950s/60s—I think) with Gene Barry. Mind you, these two actors didn’t look anything like. (And I know most of you don’t know who they are—I just thought it’d be easier to explain if I used actual names).
Anyways, the gist of the dream was that I was madly in love with this particular character...who had Robert Vaughn’s face but Gene Barry’s body. “Why does this matter?” you might be asking. Well, in the shows I’d watched with both actors, (I think?) Vaughn’s chest was hairless while Barry’s was very furry (which I love). In addition, Vaughn’s face was incredibly handsome (it set my definition of handsome) while Barry’s wasn’t in my mind. So, my preferred face with my preferred torso. Great, makes a perfect dream, move on with life.
I just realized tonight that my SO, the man I intend to marry, essentially has the EXACT combination of face and torso that my dream had!
What gives?? Is there something to this, or at I looking too much into this? (I’m okay if I am)
