Does anyone on here suffer from extreme hair loss?

I’m only 21. I’ve always had thin hair and it’s bothered me a lot. I’d lose a good portion every now and then, I could run my fingers through and come out with four or five hairs. My hair is now becoming see-through and I can see my scalp without even needing to move any strands. When I position a mirror to see the back of my head, my scalp is easily seen.

It makes me have terrible self esteem because everywhere we look females are supposed to have thick, flowing and luscious hair. Unfortunately, that is not true for the majority of us.

I have cut my hair to my chin to let it regrow but it doesn’t help any either. It gets me so frustrated and wanting to cry. Does anyone else deal with this? 😢
