how long should a break in a relationship last?

my boyfriend and i are on a break at the moment and i’d like other people’s opinions on how long it should last. i’m not really sure when to reach out again.

I don’t believe in breaks it’s either we’re going to be together or not. I believe that you have to talk your problems out, and not call breaks whenever one of you guys aren’t seeing eye to eye.

Girl my boyfriend and I took a YEAR long break and it was the best thing ever. Seriously. Before the break our relationship was horrible. Constant jealousy issues, trust issues, very very toxic. After the break (which I call it a break because we literally had rules for it) our relationship blossomed. Never felt better. No jealousy or trust issues. I’ve never been so confident in someone.
