My Sons pre-K-3 requires a backpack also. His lunchbox and folder go in there. Everyday his craft, work, leftover snacks all go in there.

My daughter’s school requires a backpack, lunchbox, and nap mat. She’s 1. The backpack is mostly to bring home all her “art”.

My kids school said yes. 
At the end of the week they send her nap stuff and all her crafts from the week home in it.

Yep!  One big enough to fit a normal sized folder.
