I’m 35w & 4days. Baby has been measuring ahead since 20 week anatomy scan so we’ve had 2 growth scans. At today’s growth his arms and legs are measuring 32 weeks but head and stomach is 39 weeks weighing 7lbs total. My Dr has been saying this whole time that the whole point in tracking his growth was to see if he would be too big to deliver than we would discuss inducing before 39 weeks. I have made this a huge concern to him due to my last baby measuring ahead and was born 8lb 8oz and became stuck during delivery causing them to almost break his arm and shoulder getting him out. Dr is now saying baby is very big but that alone isn’t enough for him to induce me sooner than 39 weeks. So I ask is it normal for there to be such a big difference in his measurements and he told me his US tech would send it to a maternal specialist and he wouldn’t know until he gets the final report.

I guess my question is has anyone experienced a big difference in measurements on parts of baby’s body and it be normal or abnormal? And how am I supposed to deliver a 10lb baby when I could barely push out an 8??
