My daughter is 5 weeks old today and has been pretty much exclusively formula fed.... I still have a little supply of milk in the boobies and haven’t let them completely dry out- the past couple days I’ve been offering the boob before a bottle feeding and she is doing SO well I could cry! Seems like she’s getting what she needs and isn’t having any “nipple confusion” so we’ll just stay the course and see what happens.

With Hurricane Dorian heading our way (we’re in Charleston, SC) it hit me that in times like this, it’s super nice to not need to have distilled water & formula on hand in case of a shortage! Of course, I do because I don’t think my supply is quite where it needs to be yet to fully support her but fingers crossed that we can get there!! ☺️
