Menopur Shot, problem?

So tonight I'm on day 5 of stims, it was only my 2nd time doing it myself and my first time without my husband here to help me (he had to go out). 
Anyway, I did the shots myself but when I pulled the Menopur needle out a lot of blood followed, a lot for a subcutaneous shot anyway. Does this look like a problem? Will the medication still absorb? I definitely bruised myself too, ouch! 
Lesson learned, always make sure my husband is here to do it! 😂

You're doing awesome doing it yourself, you're nearly there ,when uv finished pushing down the plunger do you hold the needle still for maybe five seconds before slowly pulling it back out ?x

You may have just gone through a little vein, no biggie. I’ve had a gusher with an IM progesterone shot that freaked me out, but all turned out fine.

Totally normal. Some will leak blood, some won’t. A few of mine bruised.

You will be fine!! A couple of my shots bled a lot!! You might have hit a more sensitive spot and maybe was too quick or rough!
