What did you learn in sex ed

Just curious.  ...
I learns abstinence , contraception and stds
My parents only thought me abstinence and stds

Everything. At the age of 5 my parents gave me books on sex education and my body. I had my period at age 7. In school we had sex ed from 1-12 grade. I accumulated many sex books over the years and my parents wanted me to be educated about it and know proper anatomical terms for my vagina and breasts.

I was 12 right after I got my first period.
I was taught about sex, ovulation, how pregnancy actually happens, the correct terms, different types of contraceptives, and STD’s.
I took it upon myself in high school to read and learn more.

Nothing at all I didn't get sex ed. I was home schooled and my mother decided if she didn't teach us about sex we wouldn't have it. Most of my sisters didn't even know what was happening when they got there first period. Thankfully I was the youngest and they told me about it before I got mine. As for sex I was aloud to watch nature shows so I just figured we probably make babies the same way. Once I asked to go to military school (the only school they would allow) I was given a very thorough sex ed class there.
