Has anyone been 3 weeks behind on their first ultrasound?

I understand a few days, even up to two weeks because of late ovulation. But for someone with regular periods, have you been off by 3 whole weeks at the dating/viability scan, and went on to have a healthy pregnancy?

Ok this is happening to me right now. According to my last period I should be 8 weeks today. I have been for a scan and they can see yolk sac and possibly start of fetal pole they are not sure as it is so close to the edge of sac. So they classing it as just the yolk sac obviously no heart beat. They are saying I am potentially 5-6 weeks (sounds like closer to 5) and ovulated a lot later (right before af) or the pregnancy has stopped developing. Had bloods and going again on Friday . If they have risen they will book a scan for in a weeks time. My argument is how can dates be nearly 3 weeks out wen I have a regular 28 day cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s so confusing and worrying
