I was induced with my first at 40+1 due to no medical reason, I was just not wanting to go a week over. It went well, 14 hours of labor total. I didn’t want to get induced this time as it is my last and I want to experience it naturally this time but, here’s the kicker. I just found out my husband will be out of town (4 hours away) for his next construction job until it’s finished🙂 my other support person, my mom, said she couldn’t come to the hospital natural or not unless it was a weekend (she works at a school), so therefore there is a slight chance I could be making an hour drive to the hospital in labor with my 18 month old by myself 😬 should I talk to my midwife about an elective induction?
