The birth story of my Golden baby
I have stage 3 endometriosis and told it would be difficult to have children. When me and my now husband got pregnant we were so excited and nervous! At our 20 week ultrasound we were told that she has a circumvalle placenta which will make her small or slow growing. On July 28th i felt contractions 11 min apart for an hour.. since I love an hour away we decided to go to the hospital. I was 38 weeks 3 days. They got closer together on the way there about 6 min apart. When we got to the hospital they almost completely stopped 🙄. But they checked me and I was 6 cm and 90% effaced.. I have been sitting at a 5cm for 2 weeks. They decided to admit me and get me walking. I was admitted at 11am and didn't really progress much. I was a 7cm and they had to induce me at around 4pm. I had no pain because I had an endometriosis surgery a year before where they cut a nerve in my uterus so my cramps wouldn't be so bad. I felt great! Labor was super easy until the very last second. They put me on the monitor to check her heart rate and they couldn't find it, that's when they made me lay down on my side.. thank god they found her.. that's when the pain hit. The pressure down there was so bad I was moaning and crying. I asked for fentanyl and man that stuff was great! I ended up getting the epidural at 9.5 cm and by the time it kicked in it was time to push! I had the mirror in front so I could watch. I pushed for about an hour and my beautiful little girl was born on 7/29/19 at 1:13am weighing 6lbs 8oz 19&3/8 inches long. I tore in two places and was borderline hemorrhage. I would do it all over again especially since I couldn't feel contractions! I love you Wren Eleanor
