Hi ladies! What have all of your babies recent heart rates been at your appointments? I’m currently 36 weeks and a couple weeks ago at my 34 week appointment, my boys heart rate was around 125 bpm, which my doctor said was on the lower side of normal. I’ve been pretty paranoid since then and made the mistake of downloading the tiny beat app on my iPhone, which claims to let you hear your babies heart rate. Today I am exactly 36 weeks along and used the app and his heart sounded slow. I’ve heard that fetal dopplers also pick up the sound of the placenta, which sounds like a heart beat, but I’m still freaking out. I have my next appt in a couple days to check the heart beat again and see if I am dilating. My baby is still moving around normally. Just curious if any of your babies heart rates have dropped close to labor.
