Anyone one stationed at Ft.Carson or any bases in Colorado?Me and my boyfriend are getting stationed in November and I would like to have some friends 😭 A little about me:
•I’m 19
•I love to travel
•some other hobbies include photography,clubbing,concerts,festivals/raves,anything art related (drawing/painting etc.)

Never been there, but our friends just moved to Colorado Springs three weeks ago upon being medically retired from the Army. They love it. I’m sure you will too. We plan to visit them next year!

We were stationed there years ago. They were putting in new on post housing during that time. I know at that time it was hard to get into that housing and I would imagine it still is. The older housing is okay, the management was changing during that time too, so hopefully it’s better. For example, our crawl space had 2-3 feet of water in it. It took us complaining about the mold in our house for them to finally fix that and that was a year after we moved in. I find its best to live off post there, but be careful because some apartments charge almost the full amount for BAH. However, to not sound like a total Debbie Downer, it’s very pretty there, there’s tons of stuff to do out doors and the snow doesn’t last long in Colorado Springs either.

Me and my fiancé just got here in August , from what I seen it’s beautiful, I also hope to meet new people and make friends here.
