Separation anxiety???

My 19 month old has been so clingy and crying every morning when I have to leave for work. It is heartbreaking and I hope it's just a phase since we are expecting baby sister in 6 weeks and I don't want her to be jealous!! Thoughts??

I think it is just the age lol. Myguy has been doing it since he turned 18mo. And I cant even pee alone anymore.  He also wakes up screaming some times... not sure what that I'd about. It's been many years since I have done this lol and no 4 will be here any day. 🤣🙄🤷‍♀️

Our daughter gets very upset most times her dad, grandma, or anyone that she is "talking to" or excited to see leaves. It's mostly over her dad leaving for work since she doesn't see him much besides bed time. He works a lot. She loves babies though and is very loving toward any belly (due in January again lol) she loves dolls and babies when we are out and is very caring in general. I'm sure if you start introducing the idea of a baby in the house and try to include your 19month old in some of the process (when it's less stressful, during the day snuggles or something) then it won't be too hard of a transition.
Siblings won't always be excited about the other lol. Its most likely going to just be a phase.😇

Has she always cried when you leave for work? Who takes care of her. 
Sometimes change can bring on a regression of behaviors. Or it could be other things.

It’s the worse when I have to go to work, I work pm shift so everyone in my family is home by then.. I try leaving him his favorite snacks or put on his favorite movie and I’ll sneak away lol

It depends with my lo. Sometimes she doesn’t care and sometimes she acts like I cut off her leg and took it with me. Totally normal.
