How to announce pregnancy to dearest friend who just got an infertility diagnosis?

We tell each other everything. When we spoke about what she is going through, I told her I don’t mind if she never wants to hear about my LO or unfollow me so she doesn’t see photos all the time. She told me she adores my LO and wants more pictures! She is only 25 and doesn’t want kids for 5+ years but this is the hardest thing she has ever been through and it is very raw. I told her we were discussing no 2 but now it has happened so quickly, what can I do to make this easier on her?

Coming from the friend with the fertility issues, I can tell you that no matter how you tell her/when you tell her it’ll sting a bit. However, the love she has for you will balance it out and she will genuinely be happy. My sister announced her pregnancy 2 months after I miscarried and she admitted to me later that she kept it from our family because she didn’t want to hurt me. Of course my heart shattered with just the thought of her thinking I wouldn’t be excited. I cried after she told me but only in front of my mom and husband, to this day she has no clue how much I’ve grieved, but best believe my nephew is the best thing that’s could’ve happened to me. My best friend announced she had accidentally fallen pregnant a few months after me and my SO had decided to start trying. I immediately got that jealous, heart in your stomach moment. But I was happy for her two. Around a year later now were still trying and she has a beautiful 3 month old baby boy. Yes it's hard when all I want is to see those two pink lines, however I am loving being a part of her motherhood journey, babysitting, going to the doctors with her for his first injections, receiving photos of his smily face in the morning. It will hurt her, but support her (as I sure you will) and make sure she knows she is a part of your family too and will be a huge part of this little ones life xx

Coming from the woman who’s struggled, no matter how you tell her, it’ll be painful. My good friend told me in April she’s pregnant. Two months later, my sister told me she’s also pregnant. I’ve taken both announcements hard and unfortunately, it has taken a toll on our relationships. 
My advice : when you tell her, let her know you’re willing to give her space, if she needs it. My sister doesn’t understand that and has pushed me, which makes it harder to be around her.

I’m not sure you can. I think it might sting regardless. 
I don’t know if this helps but if it does, it’s worth sharing. It took me a year of therapy to work past fears of conceiving because I was too scared, but also wanted the experience of being a mom. Now that we are finally trying. It’s been four months and no luck. 
My cousin is my best friend. She accidentally got pregnant with a boyfriend who had just broke up with her. I think she was scared to tell me. But to be honest it didn’t upset me as much as I thought something like that would. It stung but I quickly got over it because I was excited for her.
I hope that helps makes it seem less scary. I know it’s different circumstances and all that but because she’s your bestie I think she can manage to be happy for you. 🤞

My sister had a miscarriage in December after a year of trying to get pregnant. I got pregnant in April after only trying for a month so I was super nervous to tell her. I just told her individually before I announced to the rest of my family so she could have time to process it. It was hard to tell her but I also knew she would still be happy for me and wouldn’t want me to keep that from her!
