Okay so my daughter rides the bus and when they drop her off they cross her which is fine but the bus driver told my child that she can’t come home until the bus leaves does that sound strange to you? I’m just curious bc my policy is once you have been crossed and on our side walk we walk directly home (typically I’m there waiting for her or in our yard which is less the 3 feet from the bus stop). But I feel it’s unsafe to tell a kid they can’t go home until the bus leave (I.e the responsible adult for my child till she is in my care) or if she is with me she’s not allowed to leave till the bus leaves? Idk just curious to others thoughts
