To swaddle or not to swaddle?

So my LO is 12 weeks today!

As you can see she is thrilled lol. Anywau, she has been an excellent night time sleeper since 6 weeks, lately she has been going a 7-8 hour stretch every night it's been wonderful.

....

Until Monday night.

Monday she was up every couple of hours crying and fussing. I finally gave her some gas drops around 2 Am and she slept until about 6, the longest stretch of that night. Next day she was crying and feeding and sleeping all day. I thought it was probably a growth spurt.

Next night, slept a good 4 hours before waking, then woke up every 2 again but this time I noticed her fighting and breaking out of her swaddle every time she would wake. It's a summer infant large velcro swaddle, the only one that fits her, she is too big for the halo and swaddle me ones I have. But it's a little big for her so it's not super hard for her to break out of it.

So last night I forgot I had the swaddle in the wash and forgot to put it in the dryer, so it's bedtime I don't have time to wait, I put her in a nested bean sleep sack I bought and had yet to use. She slept a little better but still woke up every hour or so between 4-7 am.

So finally my question, is she over the swaddle? She still has the Moro reflex, but im not sure if having her arms out is waking her up or fighting out of the swaddle is. ...

Should I buy the Merlin suit? I would give anything to have her go that glorious 8 hours again...

What do you ladies think?
