Facial hair removal device. Any suggestions or tips? Arm hair?!?🥵🤷🏼‍♀️🤔

I have a VERY hairy body and two areas that I am the most self conscious about are my face and arms. They are both COVERED in thick hair. At one point I was shaving my arms but I always thought the hair would come in darker. I’m not sure if that’s a myth but at one point I thought I was seeing some black hair sprouting so I stopped, I have thick blond hair on my arms. Do any of you know if that’s a myth and if it’s okay to shave my arms?? Anyhow I’ve been looking into facial hair removal and am not sure how to “correctly” do it or if it’s even safe I guess. I watch a beauty channel on YouTube and seen she was using a “facial exfoliating device” but it was removing her facial hair as well. The exact tool she was using was $185 and that is insane, but I can’t find another tool similar to it. Are there any great facial hair removal tools anyone uses that’s worth a shot or any safe ones that you know of?? I have thick peach fuzz in certain areas of my face and it makes my makeup look super cakey in those certain areas. Thanks!
