Potty tips please

So my big has been going to the potty for about a week now. She's still not telling us when she needs to go, but she'll hold it until we put her on it.

She puts her hand in the pee stream! I cant get her to stop. If I hold her hands she'll hold her pee until I let go of her hands.

My husband's not helping much. I was gone for about an hour yesterday and came back to him fussing that she peed in the floor and she was back in a pull up.

She holds her poop all day until I put her night time pull on. I dont want her to get impacted or anything.
