Hey guys, how do you feel about online dating. I want to try it but I’m a little afraid of the sigma around it.

I'm married to an online date  so I approve lol 😆 its actually way more common than you think, some people just don't admit it.

Most of my partners have been from online dating. I felt awkward telling the 70 year old couple we were camping with that we met online but turns out them met over AIM way back. My parents know I met my last serious partner online and I’ve used all the dating services. I’m not too shy usually about admitting it to people unless I think they’ll be judgmental. Yeah there’s a bit of a stigma for some people but honestly it’s a great way to meet people you would’ve never gotten the chance to meet. In the end if you find someone great does it really matter you met online?
Just be careful. Always meet in public, tell someone where you’re going, have a sort of escape plan if the date goes bad.

I met my now husband 10 years ago that way. We’re now married, happy, and thankful for taking that chance. You have nothing to lose other than meeting new people you normally would never have met!!  
PS just as a safety measure I always met them initially at a public place & sent my sister and bff my dates contact info.

Try it! I met my boyfriend on Hinge. Went out with like 3 others before him. None were awful and I was never stood up or anything. I think it’s because I’m pretty good on picking out the good guys from the players. I seriously hit the jackpot with my boyfriend. Never had a guy treat me so well before 🥰 it’s honestly embarrassing and I cringe when people ask how we met...but I’m thankful for the app bc I would have never met him.

I’ve had successful dates from Bumble. Given my SO and I got back together after 5 years and did not meet online. Lol. Just make sure you talk for awhile before, maybe on the phone. I would always shre my location with one person while I was with him so she knew. The first few times I went to his house, she knew and saw my location. Just be safe and have fun!!!

I met my husband from online dating. Give it a try. Just remember if ur gonna meet up with a guy, meet in a public place and always tell a friend or family who u are meeting. Give them details about the guy. I did when I did online dating. It’s just a safety measure
