5 weeks today - when are you telling people!?

Good morning ladies (west coast)! I’m exactly 5 weeks as of today. How are you ladies doing?

I woke up to a stronger, darker line this morning, thank goodness!

I have my first scan appointment on Sept 16 which will make me 6 weeks and 3 days.

Just curious when you ladies plan on telling your friends and family?? This is my first pregnancy so I’m a bit nervous telling people but I’m also so excited I just wanna (vomit) scream!!

I've told my 2 besties and my sister and my partner has told his bro. I will announce to closer family and friends once into second trimester. I've told besties as support they have children and this is my second so finding it hard with a very active child so venting ha ha

5w4d and my best friend, daycare director, and one other friend I work with know and that’s it (besides husband obviously). We are probably going to yell around 10 weeks and announce to extended fam on social media at 12 weeks!

Ive told my two best friends my husbands family my sisters and boss (due to previous miscarriage) Whenever your comfortable.

Had to tell my coworkers last night when I had to leave work early 🤢 we've told a couple of close friends. Might tell our parents after first ultrasound

I'm 5w6d and I've told 3 of my best friends (they've been with me through all of my TTC struggles).  I also had to tell a co-worker (I work in a small store where it's just the 2 of us) I couldn't stay out of the bathroom one day 🤮🤮🤮, so the cat had to come out of the bag there. My DH and I will tell everyone once we have our 1st appt which is scheduled for Sept 26.

Congrats! So far only my husband, doctors and personal trainer/ gym instructors know. I think we are going to wait to tell family until we have our first appt on the 17th. Fingers crossed this pregnancy sticks and we will then announce at the end of the year on social media!

After scan at 9 weeks to check my blood to make sure the baby doesn’t have any genetic issue that they scan for if everything is ok which I suspect it will be then I will tell everyone plus the rate of miscarriage is soo much lower after 12 weeks it’s hard because this is me and my husbands 1st baby so we’re super excited but we will survive waiting 4-8 weeks it is going to be hard to conceal the boob growth though lol
