Med techs and caregivers advice!!
So a friend has offered me a position as a med tech because my current job has dropped my hours to under 20 a week because of a new hire and how they “don’t have the budget”
I decided to take the job (I’m quitting my current job in the morning) and scheduling my interview to be a med tech.
I decided to take it because it has better pay, better hours, and it’s something I can actually advance in plus I’ve always wanted to be a caregiver.
The job will pay for me to get certified but I’m kinda scared because I don’t know what to expect. I was told I’d basically just fax orders, pass meds, call doctor offices and call emergency services if needed. But I’m so scared I’ll just completely suck at it and I think I’ll be working with a few girls I used to HATE a few years ago because they were the typical stuck up pretty bitches.
I’m just so stressed out about all of this. What should I expect? I’ve only ever worked retail.
How can I get my body used to waking up early (around 5AM) and working very hours.
I don’t even know how to fax😂 and I have to get my CPR license and idek how to go about getting that.
