Both did but I dont see it as necessary.  They didnt learn anything other than what I already taught them

My first child did but my last two didn't. Honestly there wasn't a difference when starting Kindergarten with any of them 🤷🏽‍♀️. But, I always worked with them on learning since they were all babies too so I'm sure that helped.

Yep, all my kids have gone/will go to preschool. 1st did a 2 day program(Tuesday, Thursday), 2nd did a 3 day program(Mon/we'd/Fri). Still deciding what to do with #3, I didn't really notice a difference academically between the 2 and 3 days so it will probably just depend on finances and our scheudle at the time of enrollment. 
We don't really do it for the learning aspect but more for them to get accustomed to being in a classroom setting before they go to kinder and are away from home 5 days a week all day. Everything they are taught in preschool is easily taught at home so the only real reason for it is for socialization and just getting them introduced to school. 
If for some reason we couldn't afford it, it wouldn't be a big deal. We'd just skip it and go straight to kinder at 5.
