What is the stupidest thing you have been arrested for?

I got handcuffed and drive to juvenile detention in high-school  my senior year for talking back to a teacher twice  .  The first time , she  made a racist remark about a fellow student who is quiet and I told her something like “that’s fucking low of you to say that Diane. I sure as hell don’t tolerate that .” 
The second time was when she said “I have a camera recording you all,” 
I said “that some bull, first of all its illegal for a teacher to record a student without a press release being signed by the parent if under 18,”. I found it stupid because she called in the school officer saying I was a danger to the  class room.

Driving while license invalid. 
Ugh.
Ten years ago, I got a ticket for no proof of insurance (I didn't have the slip but I did have insurance), and I faxed over my insurance and the JP dismissed the ticket. In my state, at the time, they had just started giving surcharge tickets. Basically, certain ticket offenses were subject to ANOTHER FINE on top of the ticket. Driving with no insurance was one of them, and even though the actual ticket was dismissed, the offense was registered in this surcharge database and I had to pay like $500/year for 3 years!!!!
I had moved shortly after getting that ticket and did not update my new address, so my notice of this new surcharge was sent to an old address. When you don't start making payments, they invalidate your driver's license. So I was literally pulled over for a headlight being out, and discovered that my license was invalid and I was arrested out of nowhere. I spent the night in jail, had to be bailed out after a judge arraigned me the next morning, and missed work.
BUT WAIT, there's more! Driving while license invalid (DWLI) is a misdemeanor and I had to serve 6 months probation, $1100 in fines and probation fees, and 20 hours of community service. It was truly ridiculous. 
And this past year, my state has finally done away with this despicable system and although I'm glad they can't do this to others, I'm so pissed the county and state got so much of my money for literally a piece of paper I had lost.
That is my story of the one and only time I've ever been arrested.

Never been arrested, but when I was a teenager me and my boyfriend were metal detecting and a cop stopped us and told us he could arrest us for digging holes in the dirt on public property. We were being completely respectful and not disturbing anyone and covering up any holes we dug. He didn’t care so we just decided to leave instead of deal with any bullshit.

Never arrested but once I was pulled over because I was driving erratically by slowing down and speeding up. I was doing that because the speed limit went from 35 to 25 whenever there was a turn on the mountain I was driving on, and there were a lot of turns 🙄
