Anyone here from Asheville, NC?

My husband and I are strongly considering moving there in the next few years, but we’re currently in a much larger city with lots of family friendly activities and fantastic public schools (rated like 9/10). What are some of the benefits of living there? Is it family friendly?

It’s like a hippie town. Super accepting, super chill, and just a cool place to be, from my experience.

I live here in Asheville! If you love outdoor type stuff and food it’s definitely a plus. I will say cost of living is high. I moved from Tampa, FL and that is one thing I dislike. But if you have the finances to afford it go for it! It’s beautiful, and people are friendly

Not sure if this is super helpful but I live a few hours away from Asheville and people always venture there on the weekends. It’s like the go to spot. My husband and I plan on making a trip there soon. We heard it is gorgeous there, laid back, lots of good food and pretty family friendly!
