How do cloth diapers help prevent blow outs?

I use covers and inserts so that when you stuff them they’re like a normal diaper except cloth. Her poo will go straight up to the elastics in the waist but not escape. Disposable diapers don’t have a waist elastic so the poop can just come right out.

I know with flats and covers, the elastics around the leg fit pretty snuggly  and doesnt let anything leak out. I use flats and covers with my 15month and it always contains the poop.
