Pregnant??

Hey guys so I had sex on the 5th of August and I got my period on the 13th. If I’d gotten pregnant from that time, would I have gotten my period so soon after? Like is that long enough time for your body to know? I don’t know if this makes sense 😂

Don’t listen to one of these posts... if your cycle is pretty normal, no, you had sex well AFTER your fertile window/ovulation. Implantation did not happen; thus you had your period. You are 100% NOT pregnant from this instance. 
Now, if you have continued to have unprotected sex after your period a month ago, sure. But 100% not from having sex August 5th

Well, it usually takes around a week for pregnancy to actually happen to your body. I would wait a couple of more weeks!! It depends if you used protection or withdrawal as well. You won’t really start feeling symptoms of pregnancy until maybe 2-3 weeks or more.

Once the egg implants it sends out a hormone that tells your body not to have a period because a period is the lining shedding and it would shed the egg. However there are things that may cause bleeding during pregnancy but anything more than spotting isn’t normal
